It started with a dream and a drum.

The dream of a complete drum store for drums and drummers became a reality in the spring of 96. Armed only with a handful of drumsets and snare drums, a few choice cymbals and a tiny wall full of accescories, Tim Ellis set out to provide a truly unique atmosphere for drummers of all walks of life.

Being the only full service drum shop in the midwest to offer our patrons with the professional point of view, our primary mission is to educate and produce accurate
professional drum related services to the drummer, from sales and service to expert repair and even custom built drums, our dedication to drums and drummers is beyond compare.

From our first storefront some ten years ago to the big big move to Snelling Avenue in the Saint Paul Midway, our goals have remained true. Now with more space to offer the widest selection of drums and accessories, education through
private lessons, workshops and community drum events and mostly,

a place for drummers to hang out.

Price Matching:
If you do find a lower price on the identical brand and model of an item from a competitor who has the item in stock and is able to electronically fulfill your, order we will gladly match it. The item must be a verifiable advertised price. Price comparisons will only be considered from US based retailers authorized to sell the products and in US currency. At this time, we are only able to price match items that we currently have in stock. Shipping:
UPS will not ship to PO Boxes, please use a physical street address. Orders that are refused will be charged the original shipping plus return shipping to us. All returns or exchanges must be new, unused and in the original box and packaging. Refund returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus the original cost of shipping. Please note that the original cost of shipping will be charged back to the customer regardless of whether the original shipping was free. (i.e. customer orders a drum set for $400 with free shipping...the customer will receive a refund of $400 minus the 15%, minus the original cost of shipping). No returns on used items.Please note marching and concert percussion and
custom order drums are not refundable.

Oversized Shipping:
Some items such as gongs, vibraphones, marching cases and orders with more than 1 drum set are subject to oversized shipping charges. If you order an item that is subject to oversized shipping, you will be notified after the order is placed for approval on the additional shipping charges.

International Customers:
For orders placed with a credit card issued outside of the US, we require you to fax a copy of the front and back of your credit card to 651-647-9940.
The name on the credit card must match the name on the order. Please note that the CUSTOMER is responsible for all customs, duties and taxes of home country on all international orders. When delivered, the delivery person may require an additional payment or you may be billed. This amount due is the duties and/or customs brokerage fee...this is not a shipping charge. Please check your local rules and regulations prior to ordering for the amount of these charges. Some international shipping fees may vary. We will contact the customer if any additional shipping fees apply.

Order History/Tracking
After your order has been processed you will be receiving an email with your Tracking Number from QuantumViewNotify@ups.com. Canceled Orders:
Orders not canceled within 48 hours of the time they are placed are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Exchanges:
Ellis Drum Shop will gladly exchange any products purchased from our site. Please contact us for return/exchange information. Customer must pay for shipping both directions.

Refunds:
Refund returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus the original cost of shipping. Please note that the original cost of shipping will be charged back to the customer regardless of whether the original shipping was free. (i.e. customer orders a drum set for $400 with free shipping...the customer will receive a refund of $400 minus the 15%, minus the original cost of shipping). No returns on used items. Please note marching and concert percussion and custom order drums are not refundable.

All products sold by Ellis Drum Shop are brand new, first quality (unless otherwise noted) with full factory warranties. No returns will be accepted of used items. Please check all items upon receipt, if the items seemed damaged, contact us at 651-603-0848 and we will make a claim with UPS. Hold on to the package because UPS will want to inspect it.
